The DevTalks Experience connects the IT Community

DevTalks Romania is the driver of change and connects every business everywhere through the IT Community, thus connecting the developers across the world to share their experience.

Since 2014, DevTalks Romania has brought together so many forces from the technology ecosystem. In 2018, we’re expanding into 7 dedicated conferences and demo areas in order to shape a much deeper and open conversation about how the Bucharest scene is influenced by changes such as blockchain, automotive and AI. We have designed one day full of content and case studies in the expo area with the help of our partners dedicated to devs, IT professionals, students or entrepreneurs or millenials. Among our guest we have examples of a 7 years old winning Robot competitions or of a 14 years old that works at one of the top 3 IT companies in Romania and many more.

At its 5th edition, the mission of DevTalks Bucharest is to enjoy a week full of content with hands-on workshops before and after 8th of June and 7 dedicated conferences hosting 90+ international and local speakers, have demos and challenges in the exhibitors area instead of an ordinary presentation booth, discussing openly about what are our strong points and needs of improvement. Check the Agenda and craft your journey through DevTalks! We are constantly open to develop DevTalks Romania. We are grateful when receiving your ideas and suggestions and we invite you to contribute by providing us your feedback!

The network is the key to great success

The key component of every event we organize is the power of networking, so we encourage our participants to engage into conversations with other professionals.

Start-up Innovations

The Romanian tech startup scene it’s fastly growing due to the increasing number of incubators, angel investors and founders. Through this Startup Area we want to give our local startups the opportunity to get out there and shape entrepreneurial culture.

DevCommunity Events

Most of the times, one keynote is not enough to cover all the awesome things you can build with a new technology or tool. So we want to fill up this need with very technical hands-on workshops where the trainers can really get into details about what these new technologies can do before and after DevTalks.

7 Conferences in one day with your Champions

This is where the magic happens! The tech challenges and the top-notch speakers joining us from all around the world are the key ingredients of what defines DevTalks Romania as a powerful IT conference in Romania.

Reviews

There is a really wide variety of people at DevTalks talking about very different topics. There’s also a lot of tech, a lot of mobile, VR, web and much more. It’s really interesting to come to open up your eyes and see what’s going on in the tech scene globally, not just within your industry.

Cristiano Betta

Director at Work Betta, speaker of DevTalks Cluj & Bucharest

DevTalk is definitely and opportunity to get up to date with what’s happening in the industry, both in terms of the market, new technologies, things that are in trend, and in terms of lines of business in technology that are taking of. I think that this day is not just about technology or frameworks, but also an opportunity to meet your peers, to discuss, to go out for a coffee and to find out what other people are doing; because in the an industry as dynamic as ours it always pays off to have the big picture and take advantage of the opportunity to get glimpses of that big picture.
